I wrestle with these things too. ...I hear you Val. I wrestle with these things too. Perhaps it's a matter of emphasis and each of us has a different equation to balance between the fear of God and the love of God...Based on where Manning is coming from I can see this being the message of his life. Others will bring the counter-balancing teaching of the fear of God. We're all parts of the Body making up a perfect whole...<br />Thanks for your thoughts.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16682029173527471837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4063575672808296948.post-17280766002977005832011-09-23T08:25:44.851-07:002011-09-23T08:25:44.851-07:00This was thought provoking....not sure what I thin...This was thought provoking....not sure what I think yet......I must admit that I cringe at times with modern writers interpretations of all that matters to God....*enjoy the fajita* concepts. I understand there is truth in it, but feel that the modern church has given themselves such bizarre levels of license based on *His love* that there is very little if any fear of God left....He truly loves us with an almost unfathomable love....but He is also a consuming fire.....very hard to put both into one package....I get frustrated sometimes wondering about it all! Thanks for writing.Valhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08180120440153922436noreply@blogger.com
